MBO ends in a sheet metal fabrication company | Offers Wales

Customized Sheet Metal’s management team has completed the acquisition of company founders Malcolm Pearce and Jonathan Templar.

The transaction enables continued growth and development within the Bridgend-based sheet metal fabrication specialist.

Chairman Alan Jones, who led the MBO, said: “Malcolm and Jonathan wanted to have a succession plan to hand over to ensure the legacy they had created would continue and we achieved that with a very strong management team of General Manager Keith David, Technical Manager Owain Wilcox, Site Manager Jeremy Donovan, Operations Manager Trina Massie and Production Manager Derryl Watkins.

“The management team and former owners have worked in harmony and unison to achieve a great outcome for everyone, ably assisted by our advisors Katherine Broadhurst at Azets Accountants and Business Advisory and Siôn Tudur at Loosemores Solicitors.”

Malcolm Pearce added: “We are not getting any younger and we wanted to have a succession plan to continue what we have created. We will continue to work at CSM in our new roles and support the new management team who have a wealth of experience. and knowledge of the company and the industry.”
